Collage boot camp

Another wonderful weekend with Maureen Brouillette and a group of very talented artists.

This time Maureen did not have any mercy, she set the timer and we had only 30 minutes to come up with a creative idea and another 30 minutes to get to the point where the collage only needed some finishing touches. Again, and again... It may sound like no fun, but we had such a great time, we talked and laughed, Maureen answered our questions and her critique was priceless.

Here are my results from this workshop.

  1. Great title! I couldn't imagine what a 'collage boot camp' would be. I'm smiling at your first piece here. That's how I'd feel with the timer running. All of these are fascinating.

  2. Thank you Sharon,

I probably looked like my first collage at the beginning. But I know that I work better under the pressure, I guess the amount of pressure was just right to feel comfortable, work fast and finish all these pieces in time.

  3. These are amazing! I'd love to look at these close up! Great use of the space--

Working under a time constraint really helps me. I use more intuition and less intellect...
